Soul Eater Partner-Maka and Soul

It has been a long time since the last time that I worked on fan art.
This is a piece that I draw for Soul Eater, a Japanese manga story.
I name this work as "Partner-Maka and Soul". Hope you can feel the strong bond of partnership between these two characters~

Leaflet & Calendar Design + Web Design

This is the leaflet that I designed for Pricerite Smiley series. The picture on the right is the printed leaflet that I accidentally found at a Pricerite store (haha, so busy that forgot when it was published~)
Anyway, I was so happy to see my work placed in the stores~~

 
This is another project that I did at Capa Adv, a calendar design for GSK. The multiple die-cuts give layers to the design which makes the calendar look more fun and young.

TVCs @ Capa Adv 2010Summer

These are the TVCs that I had taken part in when I was working at Capa Advertising

They were mainly played on RoadShow on the bus.

The first three videos are done for Ca-C. In this project, I did whole job on the pre-production, such as the storyboard, the design of the chat-room background, the little icons, the Ca-C characters, casting the models and animating the 3D tablet.

Then also I followed the whole process of the production and post-production with my colleagues. From screening to dubbing to publishing, I had been learned a lot and a lot!

 

The following one is the first TVC project that in my career. Similarly, done the storyboards, cast the model and believe it or not, I composed a bit as well~ Although it was just the few-keyboard notes at the beginning, this project really gave me a good start for understanding how TVC is produced in the real industry. (This is the whole version with all the animation that I made, it's a bit sad that some of  the animation was taken out, anyway, this's reality~~ Let me show it here la~~)

 

The last one is the TVC that I was just responsible for the post-production. Choosing the right shots was really a challenge~ And it's also fun to do the animation for the flying bottles~~

Freelance - Hong Kong Auction Poster "Memorabilia"

It has been really a long time since the last time I make a new post here.
It wasn't because I have been lazy, it was just b'coz I am busy (at work and now at uni again~)
This (top) is the Freelance job that Hong Kong Auction offered. Thanks Brain~
It was quite happy to see my work displayed at the hotel lobby (middle) and the train station (bottom) :D
Anyway, at this time, allow me to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Gods Hunter - the.Witch

This is the concept art of my new story "Gods Hunter". And this is one of the main Character, the.Witch.
"GH" is a story about the question of justice, judgment of right and wrongs, the battle of loyalty and betrayal.
The story is still in progress, hope I can finish it in the soon future~~
But one thing that I can tell is, you will love this witch.

IronBird Series got HONORS!

Wow! Although I have not written this till now, I have been  so happy for these months because of the serveral honors that my illustration art works got ^^

 "Fighter under the Light of Hope" (the middle one) was selected into the Official Competition  of Aniwow 2009 The 4th China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival 

Here is  the certificate that I got from them, can you feel how excited I was as this's the first time that I got recognized from an international competition!!!

Major Animation - "The Battle Song of IronBird Chronicles"

Finally got it done!!!
Here is the synosis:
"IronBird" is a fantasy adventure story happened in a world where magic and science live with each. By exploring the growth of Animia, a 15 year old girl who dreamed of becoming the top IronBird pilot of the world, the animation will go through many themes , friendship, love and death, war and justices and questions the co-existence of nature and science.
This is the final major project of my degree. It's all done digitally in Photoshop, AfterEffects, and Illustrator.

IronBird Character Prints 03 - Mirror for Lost Memory

Ok! This is the third piece of the Character Prints Collection.

Losing her memory, Animia lost her identity as well. She is now wearing the other country's army uniform.

This magical water which lights come through the centre of the ripples, from bottom to the top, is reflecting Animia's true self, but she, herself cannot see it. Audience, you are the one knowing this!

Will she meet her friends on the battle fields? Will she find back her memory? Or will she fight with them till die?..... I will not tell here, of course, please wait for the animation ~~~~

IronBird Character Prints 02 - Dance of Sparks

Yeah~~~~ this is the second illustration for the character prints collection XD

It is entitled as "Dance of Spark" because there are sparks "dancing" both in the background which are the fire balls from the sky and the magic ball in the foreground.

This illustration is another concept art to show how the IB's works - magical~~~

Used a lot of time testing how to make the magic ball look powerful and dynamic, now it still work (hopefully ^^)
